Mimi

Mimi came to visit us for a week.  We were all really glad to see her and get to hang out and show her our new home but Mason was crazy excited!  I guess he is still young enough to REALLY appreciate having his grandmother around.  No big surprise since he still likes Chris and me, too!  Unfortunately, we only have a couple years left of that.
Mimi cooked and baked and I am pretty sure I gained at least 5 lbs. while she was here.  I try to avoid cooking.....and baking.  I have zero willpower...so if it is in the house I will eat it.

 We had homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs....yum.  I usually do my spaghetti the lazy way....and you can taste the difference for sure.

 Blueberry pie...which was my dad's favorite....and is also a favorite of Shane's.

Chocolate Chip Cake....this is what I requested every year on my birthday.

Fortunately, my mom loves Big Brother as much as Shane and I do and we all watched it together.  She and Mason watched NCIS together everyday.  We tortured her by making her go school shopping with us :)  It was a really good visit.  I wish we lived closer to her and I'm always sad when she leaves.
